Inpatient Psychiatrist

Atrium Health Navicent Medical Group (AHNMG) is seeking Psychiatrist for an Inpatient Hospitalist position in the beautiful and historic Macon, Georgia.  Macon is situated south of metropolitan Atlanta and within driving distance to the mountains and barrier islands of Georgia. The Inpatient candidate would join a very seasoned team including an experienced staff that make great contributions with their wide knowledge base and wealth of experience in providing care for psychiatric patients.  The dedicated psychiatric unit is a total of 24 beds including a 12 bed secure unit. The inpatient position would also include clinical rounding and support throughout Atrium Health Navicent.

• Must be board certified or board eligible MD / DO
• Active Georgia license or ability to obtain
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Willingness to work with and teach residents / fellows
