Director of Cardiac Care & Medical-Surgical Services (RN) Panama City, FL

Full-Time | Day Shift Hourly Pay :

|$50.50 – $60.10 (Based on Experience) Relocation Assistance : Case by Case Overview An established acute care facility in Panama City, Florida is seeking an experienced Director of Cardiac Care and Medical-Surgical Services (RN) to lead a dedicated 24-bed inpatient unit.

This role offers the opportunity to manage a highly skilled team that provides complex cardiac and telemetry care while ensuring safe, evidence-based nursing practice.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in cardiac nursing leadership, a collaborative management style, and a proven ability to drive operational efficiency and quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Provide 24-hour administrative and clinical oversight of the cardiac / med-surg unit.

Lead initiatives to improve patient safety, satisfaction, and quality performance metrics.

Develop and manage staffing plans, budgets, and departmental goals.

Support interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure seamless transitions across the continuum of care.

Partner with physicians and clinical teams to strengthen service excellence and team engagement.

Implement evidence-based practices and participate in hospital-wide performance improvement activities.

Mentor nursing leaders and promote professional development among team members.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications Required :
