CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PROCESS ENGINEER – Greer, USA

Job description

As a CIP Engineer in our plant in Greer, South Carolina in the USA.

Your main tasks will be to :

• To be responsible for managing, updating, and improving the current plant routings and tracking of operators’ efficiencies related to the budget targets established.
• To be involved in the participation of productivity KAIZEN-workshops and activities related to lean manufacturing, as well as HOSHIN-workshops.
• To analyze and record time studies on work content : waste reduction, tasks to improve operators’ efficiency, reduce paid hours.
• To prioritize safety and quality aspects in productivity improvements?
• To manage the maintenance of documentation for each aspect of work
• Management of workshops : creating, improving, and / or implementing material line feeding solutions

Profile

You are a highly motivated young graduate from an Engineering School or University with a strong interest for a production and CI. As part of your studies, you have already undertaken an international curriculum (e.g., one semester or year outside your home country).

You are a team player, open-minded and have good organizational and time management skills. You are familiar with the MIFD Methodology and standardization. Your are curious and always on the look-out for improving industrial and manufacturing processes.

A first experience or internship in the automotive sector or in project management can be a plus.

Your English is fluent, and another language is a plus.
