Job descriptionCompetitive employment compensation with base guarantee Sign On Bonus and Relocation Malpractice coverage No research required 24 / 7 Pediatric Hospitalist services 24 / 7 Pediatric Anesthesia coverage Paid AMA membership 25-bed pediatric unit (private suites), 10-bed PICU, and 60-NICU Level III (including overflow) Currently functioning as a 101-bed facility with room to expand 24 / 7 Pediatric ED staffed by PEM physicians with great support staff including metabolic testing / infusion nurse, full-time dieticians and diabetes educators HCA Healthcare’s Nashville network consists of five hospitals with NICUs and eleven EDs Historic Nashville, capital city of Tennessee, is also known as Music City as it is home to the Grand Ole Opry, the epicenter of the country music industry. This is on display throughout the bustling downtown where you can find the Country Music Hall of Fame and live music on every corner. Nashville is home to several higher learning institutions including the prestigious Vanderbilt University, Belmont University including the Thomas F. Frist, Jr College of Medicine. Downtown (as well as local neighborhoods) offer many unique dining experiences. Other attractions include the Nashville Symphony and Ballet and the Frist Art Museum. Nashville is also a great place for sports enthusiasts to enjoy NFL’s Tennessee Titans, NHL’s Nashville Predators and MLS' Nashville Soccer Club. Job Summary :
The Children’s Hospital at TriStar Centennial is looking to add two full time pediatric surgeons to their growing multispecialty practice in downtown Nashville, TN.
Qualified Candidates :
- Board certified or board eligible in pediatric surgery
- 2-5 years experience preferred
- Comfortable using EMR – eClinicalWorks (outpatient) and Meditech (inpatient)
- Interest in inpatient and outpatient pediatric surgery
