Location : Florham Park NJ or Raleigh NC

Mandatory Technical Skills :

  • 5+ years experience in Python (mandatory)
  • Experience in Electrical / Electronics domain (mandatory)
  • 4+ years experience in Robot Framework (mandatory)
  • 4+ years experience in Pytest - Unit Test Development (mandatory)
  • Strong experience in Modbus - TCP\RTU ( mandatory)
  • Good communication skills
  • Nice to have : if they have knowledge of industrial automation, Jira, Xray
  • Automation of Integrated system consisting of HMI, controller, communication to drive circuit breaker / contactor - NPD

Responsibilities :

  • Basic lab proficiency (ability to use a variety of metering and supplies, know their way around equipment, schematics & diagrams)
  • Either existing knowledge of =SE= lab safety or the ability to pick that up.
  • Basic lab organization (write test cases & procedures following a defined strategy, review where needed with experts in specific topics; be able to execute the procedures and pedantically detail the results)
  • Test automation abilities with Python. Proficient with OOP concepts.
  • Onsite work. When testing is happening the expectation is 5 days a week in the office.
  • either direct knowledge of basic industrial communications protocol like Modbus / TCP or background in something comparable and the ability to pick it up from there.
  • it's a digital product we're integrating, so they need to know their way around circuits and basic HW&SW troubleshooting / diagnosis. need to be able to narrow down problems when they happen. need to know how to use debuggers and programmers
  • Need to be able to do some basic data capturing and analysis.
  • Need to be able to communicate the results of their testing & analysis to the team
  • Most important soft skill is ambition and willingness to try things. We need someone who can engage with challenges and learn new things as part of testing.
