When you join RadNet as an Authorization Coordinator , you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will :

  • Obtain and track authorizations, verify patient eligibility, gather necessary information, and submit authorization requests to insurance companies
  • Follow up on authorization requests, address denials, and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Educate patients and providers, explain authorization requirements, processes, and timelines
  • Maintain records and logs; Keep track of authorization requests, approvals, and denials
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the authorization process
  • Forwards authorizations to appropriate department and patient and follows-up with appropriate parties on next steps
  • Complete all tasks and projects as assigned

  • To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have :

  • Requires a High School Diploma or general education diploma (GED)
  • Must have 1+ year(s) of experience working with various insurance plans, coverage types, and authorization requirements
  • Must have prior experience working with patients
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Requires computer literacy and advanced data entry capacity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
