Urgent Care Physician opportunity : Cedar Rapids, IA About the Job :

• Urgent Care Clinics are open 8am-8pm Monday Friday; 8am-3pm Saturday and Sunday
• Schedule is shift based; 14-15 shifts per month
• Rotating weekend shifts
• 2 Providers per shift
• No call requirements
• Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
• 24 / 7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
• Epic integration with an option for patients to reserve your spot online
• Average of 5-6 patients per hour
• Provide medical treatment for minor illnesses and injuries
• Excellent assessment skills
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Provide high quality care to all ages
• Offers select diagnostic tests and lab tests
• Prescribe treatment, refer patients for follow up care, and educate patients
• Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
• Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
