Physician Internal Medicine - Competitive Salary

Job Description

We are currently looking for a BC / BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our primary care private practice in Kerrville, TX

Scope of Practice

• Provide full-spectrum outpatient family medicine, including preventative care, acute visits, and chronic disease management for all ages.
• Manage a patient panel weighted towards older adults and Medicare beneficiaries (approximately 25% Medicare, 20% Pediatric, and 55% adults 18-65).
• Perform standard in-office procedures including, but not limited to : Pap, I&D), basic biopsies, various injections, dermatological lesion removal, and simple suturing.
• Offer specialized services such as Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and medical weight loss consultation.
• Administer childhood vaccinations and perform well-child checks.
• Manage common pathologies ("bread and butter primary care") and well-woman visits.
• Patient Volume : See an average of 18-10 patients per day, with scheduling adjusted based on the reason for the visit (new patient vs. follow-up)

Qualifications and Requirements

Certification / Eligibility :

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
