Data Center Security Manager

AWS is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a Data Center Security Manager to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. Key job responsibilities include delivering results, overseeing contract security staff and daily operations, managing data center security, coordinating with security vendors, maintaining availability for emergency response, and monitoring and ensuring the functionality of security systems. Ownership includes driving continuous improvement through KPIs and improvement plans, ensuring proper protocol adherence by all personnel, overseeing access control, visitor management, and CCTV systems, managing facility access badge issuance, maintaining security equipment through regular inspections, and implementing preventative maintenance programs. Bias for action involves investigating security incidents and providing notifications, involvement in emergency response plans and evacuation procedures, and developing relationships with law enforcement and emergency services. Customer obsession includes generating security incident reports, preparing and delivering presentations to business partners, supporting internal security evaluations, and ensuring compliance with corporate security standards. Earning trust involves identifying security-related opportunities, developing innovative security solutions, and ensuring professional security interactions.

About the team AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and we're looking for talented people who want to help. Basic Qualifications :

• Experience with access control and CCTV systems
• Six Months experience in security roles, preferably in a data center or similar environment.
• Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and reliability in fulfilling security responsibilities.
• Experience working in highly regulated environments
• Strong demonstratable communication and writing skills

The base pay for this position ranges from $52,400 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $112,000 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
