Permanent Pulmonary Critical Care Physician Davenport, IA

Hospital-Employed Full-Time Due to Retirement

Position Overview :

A leading 500-bed hospital in Davenport, Iowa is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to join an established team of four full-time providers. This full-scope, hospital-employed position offers an exciting opportunity to practice across ICU, inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings replacing a retiring physician in a well-supported environment.

Practice Details :

Schedule : Monday Friday 1 : 4 call (every 4th night & weekend)

ICU : Medical, surgical, trauma 20-bed ICU (Level III Trauma Center)

EMR : Cerner

Team Support : Advanced Practice Providers, NPs, & dedicated clinical staff

Teaching : Required oversee APPs

Patient Volumes :

ICU : Up to 20 patients / day (with NP support)

Inpatient (non-ICU) : Up to 10 / day

Admissions : Avg. 5 / day

Total hospital beds : 500

Required Procedures & Clinical Focus :

Ventilation : ETT, trach, BiPAP / CPAP

Lines : Central, arterial, PA catheter, IABP

Procedures : Chest tube insertion

Bronchoscopy & BAL

EBUS

Thoracentesis & paracentesis

PFTs, cardiopulmonary & bronchoprovocation testing

Key Conditions Managed :

Asthma, COPD, ILD, pneumonia, sarcoidosis, pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary nodules, pulmonary vascular disease, volume / BP issues

Candidate Requirements :

Board Certified / Eligible in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine

Fellowship in Pulmonary / Critical Care Medicine

Compensation & Benefits :

Salary : Competitive, discussed during interview

Relocation : Up to $10,000
