Senior Ignition Software Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Ignition Software Engineer to design, develop, and support industrial automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, configure, and deploy Ignition-based SCADA / HMI systems for industrial automation projects

Build and maintain standardized Ignition templates, UDTs, and scripting solutions for consistency and reusability

Implement and support secure integration with enterprise systems, databases, and cloud platforms

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or related field

6+ years of experience in industrial automation, with at least 2 years focused on hands-on Ignition platform development

Inductive Automation Ignition Core Certification (Perspective)

Proficiency in Python (Jython) scripting within Ignition

Experience with SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres)
