PARAPROFESSIONAL

\n

\n RCM is partnering with a North Suburban Therapeutic Day School seeking paraprofessionals for the 2025-2026 school year.

\n

\n RESPONSIBILITIES : \n \n\t

  • Paraprofessional will work in a special education classroom 1 : 1 and small groups. Students could be prK-HS aged with a variety of disabilities (cognitively, physically and emotionally.\n\t
  • Paraprofessional will work under the direction of the classroom teacher and support academic, social, and emotional learning.\n\t
  • Para may collect and record data, provide academic instruction and support, assist in classroom and individual student (behavior) management and other duties as assigned. \n

\n QUALIFICATIONS : \n\n \n\t

  • Paraprofessional must have PEL (Professional Educator License) : either a PEL (Para) or a PEL (SUB). \n\t
  • Prefer paraprofessional with school-based para  experience.\n\t
  • Credentials to be collected prior to and upon hire.\n

    • \n COMPENSATION : \n\n \n\t

  • Competitive salary and benefits available for those working 30 hrs / wk or more. Medical, dental, vision, and legal services plans available. Short- and long-term disability optional. Life insurance. Sick time accrued. 401k plan.\n\t
  • Hourly wage starts at $21 / hr. Weekly pay.\n
