Lead Back End Software Engineer

What You'll Do :

Work collaboratively with Agile teams to design and implement technical solutions utilizing a mix of full-stack development tools and technologies.

Stay updated on technology trends, experiment with new tools, and actively engage in both internal and external tech communities while mentoring fellow engineers.

Teaming up with digital product managers, you will deliver robust cloud-based solutions focused on creating exceptional customer experiences.

Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS tools and services.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree.

At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience (internships are not included).

Preferred Qualifications :

5+ years of experience in one of the following : Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.

1+ years of experience working with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud services.

3+ years of experience using open source frameworks.

2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies.

This position is open for individuals who can work in McLean, VA ($158,600 - $181,000) or Richmond, VA ($144,200 - $164,600). The salary for other locations will vary based on the specific region. This role is also eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include cash bonuses and long-term incentives.
