Job description

Position : Dental Professional Location : Aurora CO Work Environment : Hybrid Clearance Required : None

Status : Contingent Upon Contract Award

Salary Range : $132,000-$175,000

Knowesis is seeking a Licensed Doctor of Dental Surgery to join our team providing dental pre-authorization policy and compliance for our federal health plan client.

This position requires a Public Trust security clearance. Must obtain and maintain a NACI clearance and a CAC Card. Additionally, U.S. Citizenship is required (applicants without proof of U.S. Citizenship will not be considered due to the position's security clearance requirement).

The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

  • Provide training on proper methods and guidelines, review medical and dental pre-authorizations and assist in the development of denial, and approval codes used in both medical and dental preauthorization review requests

Required Qualifications :

  • Must have at least two years (within the last five years) of private-sector dental plan experience.
  • Must hold current state licensure.
  • Prior experience as a dental care provider within a military Dental Treatment Facility.
  • Ability to maintain licensure throughout the duration of the contract (5 years)
  • Desired Qualifications :

  • Experience reviewing preauthorizations and reviewing private sector dental treatment plans.
  • Familiarity with TRICARE dental policies.
  • Experience Training and Communicating policy and process to other dental professionals and senior leadership.
  • Experience with a commercial health plan involving dental preauthorization and treatment plans
  • Required Education :

  • Doctorate Degree in Dental Surgery
