Job Title : Construction Project Manager

Position Overview
CAET Construction is a small but growing commercial general contractor seeking a highly motivated Construction Project Manager to lead our operations team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, relationship-driven individual with an ownership mindset who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of multiple projects, from pre-construction through closeout, while cultivating relationships and new business opportunities to support company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning in coordination with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource planning
- Oversee bidding processes and evaluate subcontractor proposals
- Supervise and mentor field and office teams, ensuring alignment with project goals
- Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor safety, quality control, and performance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts, RFIs, change orders, and financial reports
- Hold weekly progress meetings and address issues with proactive solutions
- Foster strong client relationships to promote repeat business and satisfaction
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the construction process
Requirements
Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field, preferred5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction (or 8–10 years relevant experience)Strong understanding of construction safety, scheduling, forecasting, and field executionSkilled communicator with demonstrated leadership experienceProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and MS ProjectOSHA 10 certification required (30 preferred)Valid driver’s license and insurability for regular travel to project sitesWhy Join CAET Construction?
