The mission of Corrections Officer (Correctional Officers) is to maintain security and order within the correctional facility by ensuring the safety of staff and inmates, enforcing the rules, regulations, and protocols of the facility, settling disputes between inmates and preventing disturbances, assaults, and escapes. Corrections officers also support our role in rehabilitating and preparing inmates for reentry.
Our accredited academy is onsite in Easton, PA in the same building complex as the job worksite. Newly hired employees are paid their base salary to attend academy where they will be trained on all the skills and tools required to be successful in this role. Per union contract, base salary is $19.87 per hour ($41,334 per year) plus shift differential of $0.85. Voluntary overtime is available; both voluntary and mandatory overtime are paid at time and a half.
In order to be considered for the Corrections Officer (Correctional Officer) position, candidate must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma (or equivalent) and complete an application including screening questions and short answer questions. You must manually input your work history into your application and attach a clear picture of your driver's license. Currently, current driver's license with acceptable driver's history is required.

Interviews will be held onsite in Easton, PA, on one day only! Eligible candidates will be made aware of the date as soon as it is scheduled, along with instructions on how to sign up for an interview timeslot. After interview, if candidate is notified that they have been selected to proceed in the hiring process, they must be available for a written personality test, fingerprinting, and paperwork that Saturday from 8 : 00 am to approximately 12 : 00 pm onsite in Easton, PA. They will then need to coordinate other pre-employment testing with the hiring manager for the Corrections Officer (Correctional Officer) position.
