Mechanic Helper / Greaser

Pridestaff is currently seeking a  Mechanic Helper / Greaser  for an manufacturing company located in Ontario, CA. This is a temp to hire opportunity with potential for growth. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

Pay $20 to $21.00

Shift :   Monday - Friday, 5am to 1 : 30pm (must be able to work Saturday when needed and be able to stay until 2pm to 2 : 30pm in case there is overtime) SUMMARY

Under general supervision of the Manager or Supervisor, incumbent performs a variety of preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance and light mechanic activities to ensure machines are lubricated / greased and functioning properly.  May use lubricants, hand and power tools to accomplish work tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS :

1.            Knowledge of :

A.  Machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance

B.  Measurement tools, including tape measures and calipers

2.           Ability to :

A.  Problem sensitivity - the ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong

B.  Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense

Job Requirement / Qualifications :

At least 6 months of production or manufacturing experience or similar industry highly prefererred.

Mechanically inclind

Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

Ability to use a tape measure

Ability to use precision measurment tools highly preferred

Must be willing to submit to a oral drug test (excluding marijuna) and criminal background check prior to start.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $20.00 - $21.00 Per Hour
