Physiatrist opening Cooperstown, NY - Full-time, permanent position - Albany 75m, Syracuse 80m - Employed opportunityJob Description & Responsibilities- Employment Model : Group employed, salaried physician model with competitive salary and retirement package.- Team : Join four physiatrists in the Division with plans to expand.- Referral Base : Provided by over 100 Primary Care Clinicians.- Care Setting : 100% outpatient care. No inpatient coverage or hospital call responsibilities.- Medication Management : No opioid medication management.- Patient Care : Broad spectrum of MSK focused patient care.- Current Services : Providing interventional spine care, MSK care, non-surgical orthopedic issues, EMG, sports medicine, and Osteopathic Manipulation.- EMG : Potential for EMG if desired, but not required.- Interventional Procedures : Focus on interventional procedures, primarily fluoroscopic based.- MSK Ultrasound : Opportunity for MSK Ultrasound for both guidance and diagnostics.- Research : Potential to develop research projects with support from Institutional Research center.- Sports Coverage : Potential for local sports team coverage if desired.- Collaboration : Close patient care collaboration with Bassett Neurosurgery, Orthopedic surgery, Hand surgery, and other specialties.- Community : Small town living with outstanding quality of life, ability to develop a healthy work-life balance, and do so in an academic environment.- Academic Component : Involvement with rotating Internal Medicine Residents, Interns, and Medical students from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, and the Columbia-Bassett Medical school program.- EMR : Fully integrated EPIC Electronic Medical Record.- Compensation : Salary range : $219,000 - $309,000 plus performance-based compensation. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcares good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting.
