NSC Technologies is actively seeking motivated individuals to join our team for an upcoming Hawaii project. We are hiring for positions like Painter & Trade Helpers. Whether you’re just starting your career or have up to 3 years of experience, this is your chance to work with a leading company in the industry.

Position Overview : As a Painter and Trade Helper, you will support skilled workers in various tasks, ranging from general labor to machine operations and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist skilled trades workers in various maintenance tasks.
• Assists skilled painters who clean and prepare wood or metal surfaces for painting and remove dirt, grease, rust, scale, and other contaminants.
• Masks and tape areas do not require painting.
• Helps painters as they paint parts, equipment, and structural surfaces on interior and exterior of ships and shipyard buildings.
• Assists painters when they mix material using product data sheets. Supports painters as they inspect prepped and painted areas and perform touch-up work as needed.
• Meet critical deadlines while multitasking.
• Lift and transport heavy equipment (minimum of 30 lbs).
• Work in diverse environments, including confined spaces, extreme temperatures, shipyards, and aboard vessels.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including using PPE, and work in environments exposed to noise, fumes, and irritants.

Skills & Qualifications :

Work Environment : Most work will occur aboard ships, in shipyards, or other industrial / commercial settings. Exposure to fumes, high heat, and other industrial hazards may occur, but proper PPE will always be provided.
