About The Position

Description :

An excellent opportunity for a skilled OB / GYN Physician to provide on-call coverage at a well-equipped hospital in Tiffin, Ohio. This role offers flexible ongoing dates, a collaborative environment, and rewarding daily compensation. The position involves handling labor & delivery, gynecologic surgeries, and emergency OB / GYN care with full support from certified nurse midwives and nursing staff.

Job Responsibilities :

Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for OB / GYN services (8 AM – 8 AM)
Perform C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and gynecologic surgeries
Manage both inpatient and emergency OB / GYN cases
Collaborate with a team of physicians, CNMs, and nursing staff
Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the EMR (EPIC)
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered obstetric and gynecologic care

Qualifications :

Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology – Required

Active Ohio medical license (IMLC may be considered) – Required

Current NRP & ACLS certifications – Required

COVID & Flu vaccinations – Preferred / Required during credentialing

Must be able to perform C-sections and all OB / GYN-related surgeries

Clean professional background and NPDB self-query

Working Hours :

24-hour on-call shifts : 8 AM – 8 AM (no in-house call)

Includes some weekend coverage as part of rotation

Ongoing flexible scheduling with multiple 2025–2026 dates available

Skills :

Expertise in obstetric and gynecologic surgeries

Strong clinical judgment and emergency response ability

Excellent communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff

Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
