Description

The Asst-Occupational Therapy Assistant under the direction of an occupational therapist, provides skilled occupational therapy to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient's special physical or age-related needs. Requires skills in patient/client treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individual's functional level and potential. Works with a multidisciplinary team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
  • Coursework/Training: May require specialized OTA training to meet a particular department need.
  • upon hire: Oregon Occupational Therapist Assistant License.
  • upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • upon hire: In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check is required for this position (PL 612 and 580 only).

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
