CT Technologist Job Details

Location : Baltimore, MD 21239 (Maryland healthcare jobs)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (December 23, 2025 – March 24, 2026)

Shift : Night shift, 4x10-hour shifts per week (Wednesday – Saturday, 10 : 00 PM – 8 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 40

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2000-$2140

Setting : Hospital, Adult Acute Care & Outpatient

Charting System : Cerner

Flu Vaccine : Required (no exemptions)

CT Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience in a hospital setting

Valid ARRT (R) certification

Current BLS certification

Active Maryland state license or compact license (required at time of submission)

Experience with Siemens CT equipment (required); experience with GE, Philips, Toshiba preferred

Proficiency in adult acute care and outpatient clinical imaging

Ability to perform CT scans of the abdomen, chest, and head (with and without contrast)

Experience with PACS, isolation precautions, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging

Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media and starting peripheral IVs

Completion of required modules prior to start (average 12 hours)

CT Technologist Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT scans for adult and geriatric patients in acute care and outpatient hospital settings

Operate Siemens CT equipment and utilize PACS for clinical image management

Prepare and administer contrast media, ensuring patient safety and comfort

Start peripheral IVs and follow strict isolation precautions

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, and radiology services

Accurately document procedures and patient information in the Cerner charting system

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including mandatory flu vaccination

Complete all required training modules and participate in orientation
