Job description

Are you a board-certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in Northern California? We are currently recruiting for a long-term assignment in a scenic area near Myers Flat, CA.

Position Highlights

Start Date : January 27, 2025
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM
Patient Volume : Minimum of 18 patients per day, mix of pediatric and adult care
Setting : Outpatient only; no inpatient responsibilities
Call Requirements : None

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient care, including :

General Family Medicine services

Pediatric care (newborn through adolescent)

Well-woman care, including IUD insertions / removals

Complete chart documentation within 72 hours

Qualifications

Board Certification : Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

License : Active California medical license required

Certifications : BLS required; DEA certification must be active prior to start date

Experience : Previous experience in a similar outpatient setting preferred

Support Details

Work with a skilled support team, including :

1 Registered Nurse (RN)

2 Medical Assistants (MAs)

EMR System : Epic

Additional Information

Credentialing timeframe : 30-90 days

Required immunizations and documentation include :

Flu vaccine (current season)

Recent TB status or X-ray results (within 90 days)

MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella Zoster titers or immunization series

Tdap immunization (within the last 10 years)
