OB / GYN Physician Locums Job in California 24-Hour Call & Clinic Coverage

Our client in California is seeking an OB / GYN provider who can cover 24-hour call shifts along with clinic and / or surgical procedures on weekdays. This role is ideal for a provider who can handle both call and clinical duties while working within a collaborative team setting that includes CNMs handling most deliveries and physicians primarily managing complex cases and surgical needs.

Specific dates needing coverage : Monday, December 29th at 7am through Monday, January 5th at 7am

Details / Requirements for Assignment : Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM (clinic hours)

Call Coverage : 24-hour call; CNMs take first call, OB / GYNs step in for C-sections and complex deliveries.

Patient Volume : 25-35 patients per day in the clinic.

Procedures : Half-day procedure clinic per week (Colposcopy, IUD placement, Endometrial Biopsies, etc.).

OR Coverage : Shared OR block every other week.

Delivery Volume : Around 450+ per year

Support Staff : Medical Assistants, Medical Scribes, LVNs in the office.

Team Composition : 2 physicians, 5 CNMs (wanting to expand)
