Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (CT) with ARRT certification, 1+ year of radiology or CT experience, and BLS for a travel assignment.

Responsibilities

Hospital radiology department providing CT and general radiology services

Daytime shifts with variable start times between 6 : 30 AM and 5 : 00 PM

On-call required : one weekday call shift per week (Monday to Thursday, 5 : 00 PM to 6 : 30 AM) and one weekend call every fifth weekend (Friday 5 : 00 PM to Monday 6 : 30 AM)

Work may require staffing various locations, shift times, and lengths as needed

Uses Epic for EMR charting

Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation in compliance with department standards

Maintain safe imaging practices for patients, staff, and self

Participate in competency assessments and demonstrate proficiency with imaging equipment

Contribute to a collaborative team environment and provide high-level patient care and service

Requires flexibility to float and assist in various work locations and schedules within the department

COVID vaccination and booster are required

Assignment limited to one calendar year; a 30–60 day break is required before re-assignment

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited radiography program

Current ARRT certification in Radiography (RT(R))

BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross

Active, appropriate state licensure required if applicable

At least 1 year of experience in radiology or CT is required

Organizational and multitasking skills with ability to work independently

Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills

Ability to respond to on-call pager, including nights, holidays, and weekends
