We are a leading provider of commercial audio / video and integrated technology solutions. Our headquarters are in Williamsburg, VA, and we serve clients from Virginia Beach to Richmond. Most work is dispatched from HQ using company vehicles. Occasional construction projects with all materials onsite may require reporting directly to the job in a personal vehicle. Ideally, candidates live within the Norfolk to New Kent or Gloucester area for optimal scheduling.

Position : Lead Audio-Video Installation Technician

Pay Rate : $22–$32 / hour (6-Month Contract-to-Hire)

Position : Surveillance / CCTV / Security Installation Technician

Pay Rate : $20-30 / hour – 6-month contract to hire

Job Details

#1 - ATV Position Overview : We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Audio-Video Installation Technician to join our team on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. This role focuses on advanced installation, troubleshooting, and oversight of commercial AV systems. The technician will be responsible for ensuring the successful outcome of projects, mentoring junior team members, and coordinating with clients and project teams. Installations vary from simple conference rooms to fully integrated building systems.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of commercial audio / video systems
• Coordinate with sales engineers, project managers, clients, and other stakeholders
• Supervise and train co-workers on proper installation techniques and safety protocols
• Install and service equipment including :
• Flat panel displays and projectors
• Audio systems (25 / 70-Volt) and video distribution systems
• IP encoders, control systems, DSPs, and building racks
• Structured cabling, lacing wires, and rough-in cabling
• Work on construction sites, adhering to all safety protocols
• Travel primarily in company vehicles to client sites; occasional travel directly to construction sites may require personal vehicle use
• Ensure project deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained
• Maintain professional appearance and strong communication with clients and team members

We are seeking a motivated Surveillance / CCTV / Security Installation Technician with experience in installing and servicing IP cameras, surveillance systems, and security / access control systems. The ideal candidate is reliable, skilled, and committed to delivering high-quality installations and service.
