Job Title : Director of Sales and Marketing Reports to : President FLSA Status : Full-time, exempt Summary : The Director of Sales and Marketing at Classic Automation, LLC, will spearhead the strategic planning and execution of sales initiatives to drive business growth. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record of enhancing brand visibility while leading a team of Sales professionals. Experience in the automation industry is preferred. Key responsibilities also include establishing strong relationships with clients and partners, analyzing market trends, and developing competitive strategies. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Responsibilities : include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1.Lead and mentor the inside and outside sales teams, setting clear goals and performance metrics to drive revenue growth. 2.Create and implement proactive growth strategies aligned with business objectives. 3.Identify new market opportunities and potential clients, while expanding the company’s presence in the automation industry. 4.Establish a strategic key account initiative. 5.Oversee website development of new features and content. 6.Develop and maintain relationships with vendors for distribution products. 7.Conduct market research and competitor analysis, staying updated on industry trends. 8.Promote company and products at trade shows and seminars. 9.Analyze sales data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. 10. Prepare reports and presentations to update management on sales progress. 11. Analyze and respond to competitors' strategies and changes in the industry. Math Ability : Strong ability to analyze sales and marketing data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in advanced Excel functions for data manipulation and analysis. Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Skilled in identifying problems, analyzing possible solutions, and implementing effective strategies to resolve issues and optimize performance. Ability to think critically and evaluate various approaches. Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs. Computer Skills : Experience with marketing automation platforms to execute and monitor market campaigns. Proficient in the use of data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, or Tableau. Experience with project management tools and web analytics. Education / Experience : Minimum of five years of experience as a Sales Manager or similar role with proven track record of achieving sales targets. Experience in Business to Business sales, preferably in the Automation Industry. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional leadership and team management abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and experience with ERP software, Google Ads, and E-Commerce. Physical Demands : Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Occasionally required to stand or walk within the office. Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds, such as files, documents, and office supplies. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms to retrieve or place items on shelves or desks. Extensive use of a keyboard to enter text or data into a computer. Frequent use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Environmental Conditions : The role is primarily based in an office setting with controlled indoor temperatures. Occasional travel may be required for meetings, conferences, and client visits. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Adequate lighting is provided in the office space. The office is equipped with ergonomic furniture to ensure comfort during long working hours. The office has proper ventilation and air conditioning systems, as well as a UV system to maintain good air quality. The workplace adheres to safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
