In the Cardiac Care Unit (CICU), you will care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures, sepsis, congestive heart failure, and pulmonary hypertension, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 2. The unit utilizes advanced devices including LVAD, Impella, ventilators, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), Swan-Ganz catheters, Cortak, and NICCOM.

You must have an active RN license, a minimum of 18 months recent CVICU experience, and proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills are essential for success in this specialized environment.
