Senior Information Technology Project Manager

IntePros is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join our nationally recognized healthcare client and lead complex, organization-wide technology initiatives with a focus on infrastructure projects and new facility implementations. The ideal candidate must be PMP certified, bring proven experience managing large-scale IT projects, and have a strong background in IT operations. This is a remote position, but requires a candidate within a 2-hour radius of Philadelphia, PA in the case they are needed onsite.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of advanced-level IT projects, including major system installations, upgrades, and infrastructure initiatives.
• Manage project teams of 8–15 members, ensuring alignment with PMO standards, timelines, and deliverables.
• Apply and champion CHOP's project management methodology, tools, and best practices.
• Mentor and support junior project managers, fostering professional growth and consistency across the PMO.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to project sponsors and stakeholders, maintaining strong communication and accountability.
• Present project updates and PMO initiatives to Information Services and hospital leadership.
• Contribute to leadership initiatives within the PMO as a senior team member.
Qualifications :
• Education :
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience :
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive IT project management experience, including leading large or complex initiatives.
• Demonstrated success managing infrastructure or facilities-focused IT projects.
• Strong documentation, communication, and consensus-building skills.
• Proven ability to coach and mentor other project managers.
• Active PMP certification required
