Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Cloud Data Engineer - Azure & Snowflake Migration for a 5-month contract role with our healthcare client in Eden Prairie, MN. This role is 100% remote

Compensation : $60.00 - $67.00 per hour W2, depending on skill and experience level.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead a Cloud Data Modernization initiative. In this role, you'll migrate on-premises Enterprise Data Warehouse (SQL Server) to a modern, cloud-based data platform leveraging Azure and Snowflake. You'll work on cutting-edge technologies, optimize data workflows, and help shape the future of our data ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable data solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Logic Apps, ADLS Gen2, Blob Storage, and Snowflake.
• Modernize ETL processes by migrating from SSIS / T-SQL to cloud-native tools.
• Develop Databricks notebooks for ETL and analytics workloads.
• Build and optimize PySpark / Spark SQL pipelines.
• Implement CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices using GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration.
• Validate and test data consistency between on-prem and cloud environments.
• Ensure compliance with data security and governance standards.
