Job Summary : Registered nurses (or RNs) work closely with supervising physicians to assess and monitor patients’ needs. They ensure that treatment and care are conducted according to the procedures of the facility, as well as administer medications and perform other related tasks.This is a Per Diem Registered Nurse position.

Responsibilities :
Assess clients’ condition during every visit and track any observationsTake and record measurements of vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.Administer medication as prescribed by the client’s physicianDress or redress open wounds and assess progress of healingContinuously educate clients, their families and other caretakers on proper home health care strategies and proceduresProvide palliative care as needed to keep the client comfortableMake recommendations for devices or tools that might improve the client’s quality of lifeListen to clients and be prepared to respond to concerns or requestsRequirements :
Bachelor’s degree in nursingCurrent nursing license in the stateCurrent CPR (American Heart Association) CertificationAccess to reliable transportationAbility to work independently and with directionsCompassionate and friendly demeanorExperience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track client care activity
