About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of US Policy and Evangelism to spearhead its national policy and advocacy agenda, with a focus on advancing AI and computer science education. This role requires a seasoned leader with a proven track record in large-scale education policy change, a deep understanding of the K-16 education landscape, and a strong background in community convening and public thought leadership. The Vice President will also be tasked with leading and developing high-impact teams, aligning advocacy efforts with programmatic initiatives, and serving as a visible national spokesperson to elevate the conversation around AI and CS education.

Candidates for this position should have at least 10 years of senior leadership experience, with a preference for those with a background in state-level education reform. The role demands exceptional communication and storytelling skills, the ability to influence high-level decision-makers, and a commitment to accountable execution. The ideal candidate will be a systems thinker, with the ability to connect policy, advocacy, and implementation into a cohesive national strategy, and will demonstrate a bias toward innovation and a strong network of education decision-makers. Technical literacy and a willingness to travel are also required. The Vice President will be a key member of the Executive Team, shaping organizational strategy and culture, and will be expected to model the company's cultural principles.
