Job description

Pride Health is hiring a Surgical Technologist to support our client's medical facility in Gold Beach, OR . This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

  • Position : Surgical Technologist
  • Location : Gold Beach, OR
  • Shift : Days : 4x10 days
  • Contract : 13 weeks
  • Weekly Gross : $2400

Job Summary :

We are seeking experienced Certified Surgical Technologists to provide urgent support in a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidates must have specific experience in Orthopedic (including Podiatry) procedures, General Surgery, and Gynecology , as well as familiarity with endoscopic procedures and pain injections . Cataract procedures are not included, as the Sight Path team provides their own technicians.

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and maintain operating rooms, instruments, and sterile supplies for surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons during procedures, anticipating needs and ensuring proper sterile technique.
  • Perform surgical counts and accurately document all materials and instruments used.
  • Support a variety of surgical procedures, including :
  • Orthopedic surgeries (including Podiatry cases)
  • General surgery procedures
  • Gynecological procedures
  • Endoscopic procedures
  • Pain injection procedures

    • Education & Certification :

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong experience in Orthopedic, General Surgery, and Gynecology procedures.
  • Knowledge of endoscopic procedures and pain injection support.
  • Ability to maintain focus and accuracy in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and adherence to sterile technique.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
