Job descriptionExperience of machining complex Aerospace parts with Aluminum, Titanium and nickel based alloys. CNC Programming using CATIA V5 Veri cut verification Basic part modelling in CATIA Understanding of post processor and CNC 5 axis machine Prove out skills on machines Ability to optimize the process through cutting tools, setup optimization, tool path optimization etc. Ability to generate probing cycles. Awareness on export control regulations.
Work description :
- Estimate the efforts required for programming each part.
- Develop machining method with conceptual tooling and prepare presentation.
- Generate CNC programs for tooling and part using CATIA V5 for 3 to 5 axis features.
- Verify the programs using Vericut if required
- Support programs prove out and troubleshooting on the floor.
- Support optimization of machining cycle time
- Coordinate with customer on workload and delivery plan.
- Provide status report on weekly basis.
