Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,306 per week in Hackensack, NJ

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Emergency Department Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum of 18 months of Nursing experience in an Emergency Department environment, with recent ED experience within the past six months. License : State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications : - BLS - AHA - ACLS - Telemetry - PALS - NIHSS - CEU Contact Stroke (4 Hours) Must-Have : - Demonstrated level of performance and practice - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services - Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel Description : Our Emergency Department RNs must be ready to care for patients when they need us the most. In addition to providing specialized and innovative services, our ED RNs must be equipped to handle a variety of emergency situations for patients of all ages. Our nurses are trained to deal with various trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions. Ideal prospective ED RNs must be able to quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions. They should be able to prioritize injuries and medical needs accordingly. A busy unit with a ratio of 1 : 6 requires strong multitasking and prioritization skills. Every other weekend is required, along with holiday commitments. There is no on-call requirement for this position.
