Clinical Environment

ED volume : ~40,000 visits per year

Support : Experienced NPs in the ED

Procedures : Simple procedures, procedural sedation, joint reductions (rarely chest tubes or central lines)

EMR : Epic

Facilities :

On-site helicopter service

Certified Chest Pain Center (door-to-call under 30 mins)

Certified Stroke Center (with teleneurology support)

Specialty Backup : Ortho trauma, general trauma, neurosurgery, and CT surgery coverage available
