Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Cross Country Locums is seeking a Primary Care Physician to help with coverage in Minnesota

• Primary Care Physician needed to treat medical conditions of psychiatric patients (high blood. pressure, diabetes, and other chronic conditions)
• Open Dates : Start by June 1 for approx. 1 to 2 months.
• Desired Schedule : Schedule : Onsite, Monday Friday, 8-4 : 30pm (may have flexibility to work 7 : 30-4 or 8 : 30-5pm M-F)
• Reason for Coverage : Perm staff is on leave
• Worksite Setting : Inpatient psychiatric treatment center
• Scope of Work : Large inpatient psychiatric hospital serving patients who are mentally ill in a large, campus-based setting. Services include units dedicated to the treatment of psychiatric patients with complex co-morbid medical conditions, treatment of individuals with mental illness who face a criminal trial and patients with high levels of behavioral issues. Most are high acuity patients with complex medical histories.
