Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve operational performance at our Urbana, OH site. This role drives projects in manufacturing excellence, automation, process optimization, and capital investments. We're looking for a people-oriented Project Manager who excels at collaborating with leadership, teams, and vendors to keep projects moving forward. This is a highly visible role with a direct impact on operational transformation.
How you'll make an impact...
- Lead planning, execution, and completion of site-level projects aligned with corporate priorities, managing timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts across manufacturing, CI, maintenance, engineering, quality, materials, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Drive Lean, process improvement, and automation initiatives in partnership with CI and automation teams.
- Apply project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, DMAIC) to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to corporate standards.
- Serve as primary liaison with the Head of Operations Development for project updates, escalations, and strategic alignment.
- Facilitate meetings and stakeholder communications to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.
- Develop business cases, ROI analyses, and progress reports, supporting prioritization and approval of capital investments.
- Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance when integrating new equipment and systems into workflows.
What do you bring...
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations, or related field.7+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, engineering, or project management, preferably within a plant environment.Proven track record leading cross-functional projects in manufacturing or industrial settings.Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent) and ERP systems (SAP preferred).Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; able to lead through influence in a matrixed environment.PMP certification or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.What do we offer?
