Job Summary and Qualifications
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinating nursing functions within the unit / department during designated shifts. You will collaborate with the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate care in accordance with our established standards, ensuring an unparalleled patient experience.
In this role, you will :
Be the primary decision-maker for clinical and managerial operations during shifts, leading the nursing team in delivering exceptional care.Continuously assess the quality of nursing care and implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and outcomes.Support the nursing manager / director by supervising staff, providing coaching, conducting performance reviews, and recognizing employee accomplishments.Rotate responsibilities among core areas such as Quality and Safety, Patient Experience, Employee Engagement, Fiscal Responsibility, and Staff Development.Qualifications : Experience :
Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience required.Education :
Associate Degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.License and Certifications :
Active registered professional nurse license in the state of practice, or an active compact license.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.Located at St. David's North Austin Medical Center, a full-service facility providing comprehensive women's health services, including advanced maternity and newborn care.
