Job Title : Die Maintenance Technician

Pay Range : $23.00 - $35.75 per hour

Job Summary :

Our client is seeking a Die Maintenance Technician to support their production process by assembling products, operating equipment, and performing repetitive die maintenance tasks to meet customer specifications. This role emphasizes welding and hand-finishing skills to ensure the precision and functionality of stamping die tooling. The position also involves troubleshooting, repairs, and maintaining adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Safety : Adhere to all safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Die Maintenance :
• Troubleshoot and repair die tooling.
• Clean, polish, grind, and perform hand-finishing of die components to ensure optimal performance.
• Weld components using various welding equipment as required.
• Assemble and disassemble dies and components to design specifications.
• Equipment Operation :
• Operate machinery such as milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, and welding tools.
• Lift dies using hoists or cranes.
• Measurement and Fabrication :
• Measure parts using metric scales.
• Fabricate items or components as needed.
• Documentation : Record and report maintenance activities.
• Flexibility : Rotate between workstations and support various production processes as needed.
