Overview The Delivery Driver plays a key role in bringing the quality and care of our bakehouse to our retail cafés, catering clients, and wholesale partners.
We’re looking for a dependable, safety-focused professional with experience operating box trucks (16’–24’) and forklifts, who takes pride in ensuring every delivery arrives on time and in excellent condition.
This role combines driving and hands-on work — supporting daily packing operations, maintaining delivery vehicles, and assisting with general warehouse organization and property upkeep.
The ideal candidate is forklift certified and experienced with delivery operations while being a reliable and dependable team plater.
The hours start early and working the weekends is a must.
The wage range is $18-25 / hr and is dependent on experience.
Responsibilities Delivery & Logistics Safely and efficiently deliver baked goods, catering orders, and other products to retail locations and customers according to a daily route schedule.
Load and unload deliveries with care to maintain product quality and presentation.
Communicate clearly with team members and retail leads regarding order drop-offs and issues.
Packing & Support Assist the packing team as needed with sorting, labeling, and organizing daily orders for delivery.
Help ensure accuracy and completeness of all packed products.
Assist with end-of-day cleanup and restocking for the next day’s operations.
Vehicle Maintenance Perform regular checks of delivery vehicles for cleanliness, fuel, tire pressure, and basic functionality.
Report and coordinate necessary maintenance or repairs in a timely manner.
Keep delivery vehicles clean, organized, and in safe operating condition.
Facilities Support Assist in general upkeep of the warehouse, including trash removal, sweeping, minor repairs, and organization.
Support maintenance of the exterior of the building and grounds, such as light landscaping or snow removal (seasonally).
Participate in special projects related to facility improvements or organizational needs.
Communicate proactively with team leads on supply chain changes, product updates, and substitutions.
Provide visibility into upcoming changes that may impact production or retail operations.
Qualifications Must be at least 25 years old Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, move product carts, and perform physical tasks.
Experience driving vans and box trucks.
Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented.
Friendly and professional communication style.
Comfortable working early mornings and weekends.
Experience in delivery, warehousing, or food service logistics.
Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle upkeep is a plus.
