Overview :

Join our dedicated team in the Surgical Unit, a vibrant 45-bed facility featuring private rooms. MLR Healthcare is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead our motivated staff in delivering exceptional care to adult patients requiring medical and surgical nursing. Our unit specializes in a variety of surgical areas, including orthopedics, bariatrics, vascular, neurology, and general surgery, while also addressing a wide range of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients aged 17 and older in a 45-bed surgical unit.
• Monitor and manage patient health during post-operative recovery and treatment of various medical conditions.
• Deliver specialized care for surgical patients in orthopedics, bariatrics, vascular, neurology, and general surgery.
• Address medical conditions such as sepsis, respiratory diseases, gastrointestinal issues, skin / wound care, and infections.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including Certified Nursing Assistants, Case Managers, Discharge Planners, Social Workers, and a Unit Secretary.
• Work closely with specialists, including pharmacists, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and educators.
