About The Role

We’re looking for a UX Engineer with 3–6 years of experience to help build rich, interactive map-based web applications. This role blends UX design and frontend engineering, bringing complex datasets to life with high-performance interfaces. You’ll implement core features in React, work with WebGL and geospatial libraries, and collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to translate user needs into intuitive, scalable UI components and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build performant, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for map-based applications.
• Develop core functionality using React and visualization libraries such as Mapbox, Leaflet, or Deck.gl.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure user needs are reflected in implemented UIs.
• Integrate data from backend services using REST or GraphQL.
• Optimize rendering and frontend performance, particularly for large datasets.
• Help maintain and expand our component library and design system.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with an eye toward scalability and reusability.
• Participate in UX reviews, usability testing, and cross-functional design sessions.
