What Youll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, youll play an important role in supporting clients with their daily living needs and helping them thrive in their communities. Responsibilities include :

  • Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) when needed
  • Supporting household tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
  • Helping clients manage appointments, transportation, and daily schedules
  • Encouraging community involvement and social engagement
  • Providing guidance with organization skills and life skills
  • Offering behavioral and emotional support, including redirection when needed

    • What Were Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in healthcare or direct care (preferred)
  • Current CPR / First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to pass background checks and meet state requirements
  • US Work Authorization
  • Compassion, patience, and a commitment to helping others
