Job description

Bimbo QSR is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and support all maintenance activities at our commercial bakery facility in Denver, CO. This role plays a critical part in ensuring plant equipment runs smoothly and efficiently, with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee maintenance operations for a fast-paced commercial baking plant
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical maintenance issues to minimize downtime
  • Champion a zero-injury culture by enforcing safety protocols and regulatory compliance
  • Manage plant maintenance programs and ensure all team members are equipped for success
  • Plan and execute capital improvement projects
  • Supervise and develop maintenance team members, including conducting performance appraisals
  • Use CMMS tools to track performance metrics and drive process improvements
  • Administer safety and environmental programs related to maintenance operations
  • Develop and implement technical training for the maintenance team
  • Establish short- and long-term department goals and manage budget / cost controls
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration across departments

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Technical Degree preferred (Electrical or Mechanical focus)
  • 4+ years of experience in maintenance, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
  • Hands-on knowledge in mechanical, refrigeration, electrical, and building maintenance
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, CMMS, email)
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Working knowledge of bakery operations and production equipment (preferred)
  • Solid understanding of maintenance and safety best practices
  • Proficiency in English (bilingual is a plus)
