Professional development and expansion of clinical skills by providing care to underserved populations including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. Integrated healthcare, with access to primary care and other behavioral health services Patients Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes, with psychotherapy services also available for additional support Comfortable with our IDD and autistic patient population Must be mission-driven, seeking purposeful and meaningful work. Experience with our patient population is not required but you must have the desire to learn and positively impact people who may be overlooked or underserved. Willing to consider those who need a collaborating physician agreement but must be within 6 months of obtaining 3600 hours for independent practice authority Explore entrepreneurial ventures in healthcare, such as locum tenens agencies or consulting services, leveraging your expertise and network gained from locum work. Gain exposure to rural healthcare settings, addressing critical healthcare needs in underserved areas and making a positive impact on local communities. Prevent professional fatigue by changing environments regularly, avoiding the monotony of routine practice. Provide essential medical services to underserved communities or during staff shortages, ensuring consistent patient care nationwide. Tailor your schedule to suit your lifestyle, allowing for personal commitments and travel.
