As a Security Officer - Unarmed Bank Patrol in Washington, DC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within a financial institution, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, assist with access control, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and / or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment within the financial institution.

Conduct regular and random patrols inside and around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure setting.

Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to identify any unusual activity and report observations as required.

Assist with access control by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals in accordance with site protocols.

Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance needs to site management and Allied Universal as needed.

Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and law enforcement or emergency personnel as necessary while representing Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements :

Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.

Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Guard card or license is preferred.

Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
