We are seeking motivated individuals pursuing education or careers in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related scientific fields for AETs Summer 2026 Internship in our Petrography & Chemistry Laboratory located at our St. Paul headquarters. Internship Highlights

• Hands-On Laboratory Experience : Gain practical experience working alongside our chemists and materials scientists in an accredited laboratory setting. Build upon your academic coursework through hands-on testing, sample preparation, and analytical techniques.
• Real-World Project Involvement : Support laboratory projects involving concrete, aggregates, soils, and other construction materials. Learn to perform standardized testing methods such as pH / alkalinity testing, chloride content analysis, petrographic sample preparation, and other laboratory procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Pay Transparency?

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of?$20 - $21 per hour. The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Work Environment

This position primarily operates in a laboratory environment, working with chemical samples, testing equipment, and instrumentation. This role secondarily operates in an office environment and uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
