Jan Werner Adult Day Care is seeking a dependable and skilled individual to help with routine maintenance and safety checks for our fleet of cars and lift-equipped vans. This role is essential to ensuring our transportation program remains safe, reliable, and ready to serve participants each day. Light building and grounds maintenance will also be part of this position.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform routine maintenance on fleet vehicles, including oil changes, brakes, filters, belts, and general troubleshooting
• Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain service records
• Address minor repairs or coordinate outside vendors for major repairs
• Assist with light building maintenance and facility repairs as needed
• Support grounds upkeep, including yard work and occasional snow removal
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the center

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience as an auto mechanic or technician (fleet experience a plus)

Strong understanding of vehicle safety, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance

Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and manage priorities

Dependable, cooperative, and professional demeanor

Good mental and physical health

Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
