You will be responsible for providing a HR business partnership that results in an engaged workforce and a more productive business. You will also be responsible for and contribute to developing people strategies, overseeing a team of People Operations Business Partner (POBP’s) and, providing thought leadership to these organizations and associated leadership teams developing, and executing talent management and change management strategies while partnering with the Centers of Excellence (Talent Management, Employee Relations, Recruiting, Total Rewards, etc.) to deliver results against the people strategies.
Responsibilities :
- Provide thought leadership and consultation / support on people and organizational issues : collectively, directly and through matrix management throughout the organization, leveraging resources, programs and tools to achieve desired outcomes.
- Actively participate with and influence your leadership teams, advising on people and organization impact of business plans and decisions; ensure that change and transformation plans are established and effectively executed.
- Identify and implement strategies which improve employee engagement year over year, as measured through the company’s engagement survey.
- Analyze HR metrics to identify business opportunities working with leadership to develop and implement solutions.
- Drive talent management and succession planning activities within the business.
- Proactively partner with the business and HR partners in Talent Acquisition and Talent & Learning department to develop strategies to strengthen or fill gaps, as needed, to ensure a ready now talent pipeline; identify and deploy appropriate retention strategies to promote organizational stability.
- Lead and develop a team to support effective execution of all objectives and enable professional development and career growth for team members.
- High level of comfort with most HR disciplines (employee relations, compensation, benefits, talent management, talent acquisition).
- Contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to cultivate an amazing and irresistible culture.
- Provide strong organizational leadership for the region and Ecosystems teams.
- Lead organizational effectiveness strategies for the business including strategic planning, visioning, organization planning, talent assessment, change management and team building
- Provide strategic business partnership, thought partnership, and coaching to the members of the organization
- Provide rigorous data analysis and reporting solutions based on business needs
- Manage and facilitate the overall Performance Development Cycle and Team Member engagement survey process and throughout the year
- Partner closely with regional Vice President on business strategy and execution
- Work closely with our Team Member Relations Partners, supporting employee relations issues as needed.
- Lead and provide creative solutions to strengthen the People operations team and enable the organization to perform effectively together

- Evaluate sometimes complex situations using multiple sources of information (internal and external sources)
- Able to filter, prioritize, analyze, and validate potentially complex In-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own subject area and understanding of procedures and concepts in other areas.
Key Qualifications :
5-7 years in a people leadership role, supporting multi-level and multi-state organization. Experience in the veterinary industry ideal.Foundational understanding of human resources analytics and experience with HR systems and tools, with an ability to see the implications of actual and planned activities, contributing to leadership decisions.Strong interpersonal communication skills, including listening, influencing, educating, facilitating, and coaching all levels of leadership.Ability to build strong partnerships and work collaboratively with managers and People Operations colleagues.Ability to coach, mentor, and advise at all levels across the organization where appropriate to help managers and team members grow and develop in alignment with business and personal goals.High level of personal and professional integrity and ethics (authentic, compassionate, genuine and honest); good communicator; good listening skills and problem solver.
